Stopped into Bodega PDX, after seeing them pop up on my IG. The Sandwiches are most EXCELLENT and they have Vegan options!!!! :D The owner made our sandwiches and we picked-up some local beer from their to take home with us. All in all our experience was: friendly, great service, tasty subs, quality ingredients and highly recommended! AND Locally Owned!! I'll try to post a picture next week when I go in again!

This place is now called "Bodega PDX" and it has some LEGIT sandwiches, they are $7.50 for an 8 inch which is easily two meals. Sandwiches are made to order and they have an incredible beer selection as well. This place is like a better East Side Deli (another respectable sandwich shop) on top of being a legit corner market. Glad they're in the neighborhood serving up delicious affordable food.

Formerly Foster Market, BodegaPDX is Foster's best kept secret. But it is about to go viral because they are serving up the best sub sandwiches on Foster and quite possibly in all of Portland. They also have a grand selection of local craft beer and of course all your standard convenience store fare.
The owner created a really excellent concept that doesn't quite exist in Portland, as it does on the East coast. A one stop shop serving FRESH food, craft beer, soda, cigarettes, chips, icecream, and of course those things you may have forgotten at the grocery store, i.e. eggs, milk, cheese, dog a cat food, diapers, canned foods, etc.
Re: the sub sandwiches, I highly recommend the Mama Lil's Peppers and Garlic sauce on whichever sandwhich you choose. The Garlic sauce is my jam! While your sub is being made, grab some ice cream, soda, beer, or chips or simply take a look around and see what else BodegaPDX has to offer.
Kudos to the owner on the unique rebrand and remodel. BodegaPDX looks great inside and from what I know, has many plans for updates to both interior and exterior art and design including seating areas! Follow them on Instagram @bodegapdx
