Greatly reduced stock makes this store a wasted trip. Not even a quarter of what it used to be.

This store closing is a great loss to the Pacific NW. Every possible fabric was available. No matter if you sew clothes, quilts or cover furniture they carry all your needs. Update 9/10/2018 Very sad to See the store going down hill the stock looks as if they are going out of business, almost no fabric, or notions left. Was out of everything, I am very sorry if they are closing.😣 "Mill Ends store is staying open I hope... can't loose that store too.

Terrible. Absolutely shocked that they have reduced their inventory to less than a Joanns. Shelves have been spaced out showing how terrible the carpets are. Thread hasn't been restocked in forever, so the selection is abysmal. Something happened here that the employees aren't talking about. They claim they're slimming down due to online competition. That's nonsense. You don't go from being the biggest fabric store in Portland to this because of online stores. There used to be a whole bridal section...gone. Used to be a line to get fabric cut. Now there's 1 or 2 people working behind the counter and they're bored. There's no fabric to cut! Hours have been truncated as well. I'm still in shock. Before today I was recommending this place to everyone. As of late I've been getting weird looks for doing that, and now I've found out why. To the owners of Fabric Depot: shame on you. You're ruining what was a great store. Either go out of business or sell it to someone who cares. (so glad I didn't take pictures inside)
