We purchased a used CERTIFIED vehicle through this location in December of 22, and Archie was a wonderful light through this process.
We had an initial issue that needed to be resolved at the dealership and corrected before we purchased, the sales manager at the time was willing to have us walk over a $300.00 part that was needing to be fixed - so after the GM walked out to see what we were referring too, we made the deal as he wasn't willing to let us walk over such a small item (tailgate latch).
We were not able to have this taken care of immediately as they had to order the part - no worries. We had noticed immediately we were needing to add coolant once a week at a minimum. When we took the truck in over a month later to get the latch fixed, we informed them of the coolant issue and they said that they filled it up and topped it off so was good to go.
Well here we are, 3 months later and have taken our truck into another dealer as we live 2 hours away so diesel mechanics are not easy to come by. Once we took the truck into Lum's Dealership, they informed us that this "coolant" issue actually is either a blown head gasket or valve issue, both of which Lum's said we can't drive now.
I have contacted both Ron Tonkin Chevrolet and the Ram dealership and spoke to both GM's and neither will assist with the cost of finding out our issue or willing to help at all.
So in short, don't purchase any used vehicles that are not a Chevrolet, because they can't actually Certify them as I was informed. They don't stand behind what they sell is very obvious and don't care if you come back. Find another dealership!
