This place has the best bagels in Portland hands down! And even when it's busy the wait isnt long. I recommend the salt bagel but with no capers cuz that's too much salt.

Terrible!!! Bagel didnt even taste like a bagel...im not ever going back!!! I give zero stars...but it wont let me....

I have been a fan of the owner chef Marius Pop's food since if first tasted his pastry at a cafe I worked at in 2006. I like many I was sad when his cafe stopped making bagels but was very happy when the first Pop Bagel opened in the US bank tower. This location is way more convenient so when I find myself looking for lunch and a treat I stop by here for a bagel sandwich with kimchi cream cheese. The texture of the bagel and the traditional pretzel finish makes a bagel that is just a little lighter and not as heavy as a NYC boiled bagel. A few chefs i have known over the years have told me that the key to a great dish is to leave the person craving more and these bagels do just that. Sometimes with NYC bagels I feel like I have over done it and don't want another bagel for a while. This leads to my next point after lunch at Pop Bagel I alway stop by Nuvrei for a cup of coffee and a pastry
