I went for a perm there. When I say down I told BOTH the teacher & student I wanted A spiral, I wanted cork screw curls. When I came time to take rods out they checked them EVERY FIVE MINUTES!! I've been getting spirals since I was 14. THAT'S NOT THE WAY IT IS DONE. ALL I GOT WAS A WAVE!!

I went in for a spiral perm and when I sat down in the chair I told the instructor that I wanted a very tight spiral like ringlets and I had spirals my entire life so I know how you need to roll the rollers she did not roll them very tight at all and after they rinse the solution after they put the solution that sit for a minute they were uncurling the rods every 3 minutes so I just got this very loose bouncy curl not anything like I want so I said 5 hours there for not what I wanted at all it was a horrible experience I would not recommend anybody go there to get a perm

absolutely garbage school :D seriously find somewhere else! the owners exploit their students and overwork them without even taking the time to teach them anything while they're forced to do unpaid labor they have dumb rules about outside products that make 0 sense and they have a habit of firing/rehiring instructors that should definitely Not be working

don't waste your time and money here unless if you want to get disrespected by their instructor Ferri. I go into get my hair done, and i wanted a bleach and tone.(also just to throw in here i've been bleaching and toning my hair since i was 12, i'm 21 now, and i have been through a numerous amount of beauty schools and salons in my past, so you probably would think i have some knowledge about bleaching and toning my hair) so i get introduced by my stylist but before that ferri came out and i remember being uncomfortable because she goes up to me to tell me what's happening and gets super close to my face and that's when i sensed a really bad feeling. so i tell my stylist what i want, and she knew exactly what to do with my hair, she explained what she could do to my hair and it made perfect sense, we were both set and comfortable on it and then the instructor, ferri comes rolling in and we told her what we were gonna do with my hair and she totally went against it. she basically was saying that if we went with my stylists idea that my hair was gonna fall out and turn into powder, and she explained what SHE wanted to do with MY hair and it made zero sense to my stylist and i. we were both so confused on what she wanted to do and it made me super uncomfortable and made me want to leave because i thought i wasn't gonna get what i came in for. so my stylist and i talk about it privately some more, and we were still so confused so we asked another instructor, jeremiah (pretty sure he use to be an instructor at phagans, because he looked too familiar to me when i saw him) but he was no help and gave my stylist so much attitude just because he's not her teacher which i get but a client and a stylist is confused as hell about what we're PERMANENTLY gonna do to my hair and ferri was being no help at all and we were trying to explain it to jeremiah but he just didn't seem to care and just kept going to ferri angrily and would tell her to come back and explain it to us. she explained it to us 3 different times and it still made no sense. at this point, ferri was yelling/ lecturing my stylist about my hair. i finally chimed in and said "i'm paying though, i should be the one to choose what i want to do with my hair. Ferri rudely says "actually no, you get no say in this i don't want to hear your opinion, i've been in hair for 25 years you don't know anything." then i proceed to tell her that i trust my stylists judgment and idea more than i trusted her, just because it didn't make sense to us. and i could tell that made her upset so she took her anger out on me by raising her voice more at me and over talking me, and did this in front of other clients and instructors. she also was stroking my hair and wouldn't stop touching it while she was raising her voice at me and i kept pulling away because i told her it made me uncomfortable and she didn't care and kept touching my hair that way. then things escalate more because she's talking to me so disrespectful at this point that i started to bawl my eyes out because a 65year old lady was yelling at a 21 year old just because she was mad that we didn't go with HER idea.(most stubborn person i have ever had to deal with, and i work in customer service so that says a lot about ferri.) everyone who worked there were super sympathetic for me and my stylist was chickenfaced and didn't know what to do because  ferri asked me to leave but my stylist told me not too since i hadn't done anything wrong. jeremiah even came up to me and told me that the owner was going to call me, and i called a week later asking if she can give me a call to talk about this but i never heard back. and she's obviously avoiding it and doesn't want to deal with it. good owner it sounds like right lol  the receptionist and my stylist made a appointment for me to do it for free to make up for ferri's horrible immature behavior, but she ended up not doing it because my stylist was unfortunately suspended:/ but a couple of weeks have past by and i just want to say that i gave up and just bleached and toned my own hair and oh my god i don't think anyone would've gotten me to this color ive been trying to go for 2 years now... i get compliments on it like crazy people asking what salon did i get it done at. i did it all myself and i'm sure i would've done it 100x better then ferri would've done it because the way she explained it, sounded like she had just snorted a bunch of crack   and she tried saying to me that i had no knowledge in hair when i did something she said that we couldn't do but it worked way better than i expected (and what she expected CLEARLY) so a big ole F U to ferri! the instructors are a**holes but students are chill asf!

Dont come here to get your hair done, if you natural 4C hair, forget it. Save your hair. If you do, please keep in mind they dont do refunds, even if they mess up you hair. They clearly messed up my hair, and I didnt get a refund.
