I tuned up my van, this did not solve my problem , so I decided to take my van to Barrets. They told me my van needed a tuneup. I told them I had just tuned it. They told me they could not guarantee the repair if they didn't tune it again. I need my vehicle so I said go ahead. Then less than 3000miles later. It's doing the EXACT same thing I took it there for, in the first place. I was called and told it would cost another $315.00. I need my vehicle so I said go ahead. After the repair and 3 sets of spark plugs( any backyard mechanic can replace everything until it works correctly. I thought I went to professionals) I went to pick up my van and was handed a bill for ANOTHER $444+. When i asked about the GUARANTEE. They told me to pay up or you won't get your vehicle back. BUYER BEWARE, THEY WILL LIE TO YOU, AND THE GUARANTEE MEANS NOTHING

I went to Barrett Automotive to get a once over on my old Nissan truck. They were friendly and incredibly helpful. Not only did they finish earlier than expected but it cost me less than what they quoted. All around great shop. Would recommend and will definitely be going back for any automotive needs.

ATTITUDE! When they can’t fix your vehicle and they’ve already made you pay for two repairs that didn’t fix the problem, they get defensive and have major attitudes. Very unhappy with this place. I just gave up on them and am going to another mechanic now.
They say they’ve been there for 77 years! Wouldn’t you think that they’d have a big clientele after so long??? Nope, because not many customers come back.
