Stopped by here on a visit to the Trimet office (Trimet and the Oregon Visitor Office share the same indoors area in the courtyard). The staff was so friendly, giving me local maps, making suggestion based on my interests, and welcoming me to the city. They also have free Portland postcards and a ton of Oregon, as well as regional and interest, magazines and brochures. There are restrooms here and a Starbucks in the square.

I loved this place. Went in for some advice for my time in Oregon. The staff member helped me so much I had the remainder of my trip sorted and everything covered that I wanted to do by the time I had left there. Also went out of his way to help with travel advice to get around the city of Portland. Genuinely cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff. If you're stuck and need help, then definitely go and see them.

got stuff stolen from our car while we ate. they got some good stuff, but left some of the better stuff. i rate the thiefs a 1.5 stars, not very proffessional, quick but dimwitted . i would not hire them to pull a job with me.
