FortyOne11 Apartments

Lived here only for a year . 2022-2023 but from the recent reviews this looks to have become a better apartment building. Back when I lived here it was a struggle to find parking , my unit faced the marijuana store on NE Mason so it smelled like weed 24/7. Even if I closed the windows the smell would seep through. And if that wasnt bad enough I had soooo many things break down in my unit. The fridge broke down during the heat wave in the summer, so it had to be replaced. The maintenance man blamed me and said I was improperly storing food in the freezer and that contributed to it breaking down. Which is a ridiculous assumption. Then my pipes bursted during the winter ice storm. I had to use buckets under my sinks. It did get fixed but I just knew something else would break down. I finally ended up leaving early . a month before my lease was up because I found a better place across town that didnt smell like weed and had better parking. I never felt unsafe, all of the residents were very respectful but on the young side. Loud music and parties were a norm on the weekends. A lot of pets, I know the community struggled with pet owners not picking after their pets waste. The last thing I didnt like, was having three different property owners/ managers during my short year here. It was difficult to keep up and establish and relationship. Also some packages would get locked up in the office and it was difficult trying to get ahold of the building manager to come and open the office.

Seemingly solid and awesome spot so far. The elevator and fob key has made moving somewhat painless (Ive experienced quite a few flights of stairs on moving-days before). Grace and Heather have been helpful. Tons of parking on the side streets, and the neighborhood around the complex seems downright pleasant (lots of family homes and yards). Had the pleasure of talking to a lot of residents while lugging boxes and I have yet to meet anyone thats lived here less than a year- everyone digs the location.
