While I genuinely enjoyed browsing the amazing finds at this antique store, it was not worth the dealings with the snotty girl at the desk today. Not only did she refuse to look up from her phone when I asked her a question, but she proceeded to sigh out loud afterwards as well. Someone that rude should not be in customer service and I will not be going back. I strongly recommend that the owner of this business look into hiring someone more helpful.

So I was reading the holiday gift recommendations in the _Willamette Week_ and I glimpsed some feathers-encased-in-blown-glass earrings that just screamed my wife's name. After hiding that weeks _WWeek_ from her, I made my way to Thea's website. Once there, I learned that they also sell on consignment the Marquee letters like the "PIG OUT" sign in Lardo. Since we can't visit Lardo without my wife raving about those letters, I knew I had to go to Thea's. I bought the earrings and inquired about the letter. A phone call later, I learned that the artist probably wouldn't have it ready until January 11th. I was fine with that; I was the one who had come in at the last minute. But, on Christmas Eve, Thea's called to tell me the letter was ready! Both Tom and Maria, the artists from Marquess Letter Lights and Thea's are highly recommended!
