Steve and harvey are very knowledgeable. The shop is a labyrinth of nicely priced fine art. I've had them restore some paintings for my clients. One large piece in particular was extremely damaged. A couple of other conservators wouldn't even work on it. Steve and Harvey picked it up and restored it beyond my best expectations. It was a quick turnaround and a very fair price. My client cried when she picked it up. It was heirloom painting from her husband's family. I refer the Cultured Pearl every time a client is searching for an oil paint conservator. Giselle is amazing she knows about art and is extremely selective in what she shows me. I feel lucky to have made contact with this lovely place and Giselle when I did. She is a real gem in this shop.

Absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable, professional, and exquisitely skilled in the restoration of both paintings and frames. Knowledgeable art lovers from the Bay area bring their paintings here to be restored. Portland is fortunate to be the home of this business.

They are very incompetent! Make appt. With you and leave after a hour drive in rush hour traffic for you!
