        My 91 year old mother has been seeing Dr. Bower for many years. She never wants to see any other doctor, and it's easy to see why. His staff are welcoming, warm and friendly. They help patients feel comfortable and secure. Dr. Bower is experienced, professional, yet he's able to bring a lightness to any situation. Mom has gone to see him for a variety of issues about a half dozen times, and I've been to see him once. We both highly recommend Dr. Bower as a reliable and experienced physician.

        Dr. Bower is very professional and kind with a sense of humor. I grately appreciated that he made every effort to perform my surgery laproscopically, and was able to do so. An additional surgery was needed and he sent me to Walla Walla, where it could be performed by endoscopy, rather than "cutting me wide open". He cares.

      Andrew Bower, MD, FACS, has been serving the communities in and around Pendleton, Oregon, for over 13 years. As a board-certified surgeon, Dr. Bower offers a variety of minimally invasive procedures in his office at Northeast Oregon Surgical Clinic. He performs more extensive surgeries at St. Anthony Hospital.As a general surgeon, Dr. Bower performs appendectomies, breast surgeries, skin lesion removal, hernia repair, and more. He specializes in laparoscopic and endoscopic surgical techniques and attends conferences and other training events to stay up to date with best practices in surgery.Dr. Bower earned his bachelors degree in biology at Otterbein University. He went on to complete his medical doctorate at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Bower served both his internship and his general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation/Fairview Health System.Outside of his surgical practice, Dr. Bower spends time with his wife, Susan, and their two children, Nick and Rebecca. He enjoys hunting, woodworking, and restoring antique cars.
