Big White Goose

I have been purchasing Annie Sloan paint from BEG for many years. First I did furniture, small pieces like stools and boxes. Then I completed several large pieces, such as a large cupboard. I've just completed my second kitchen. Both came out great! My kitchen is in primer red with touches of dark wax over clear to add age. I topped it off with the Matt clear coat. My husband built the wood counters from barn wood we picked up in Aurora. Copper sink completes the project. I love my warm primitive look.

Patient, helpful, and friendly staff. After reading about chalk paint on the internet I wanted to give it a try. I used another brand of chalk paint from Lowes and the results were good but after doing some research I wanted to try the gold standard if chalk paint -Annie Sloan chalk paint. The Big White Goose carries this line of paint. It turned out to be wonderful to work with and the furniture piece I refinished turned out better than I hoped it would. That result alone would have been enough to win them a great review but the buying experience was amazing. Because the owner is certified to sell Annie Sloan paints she is a great resource for how to use it. I went home having had a great discussion and several handouts to refer to as I worked on my project. Take time to look at the many displays - chalk paint can be used in many wonderful ways!
