My mother-in-law brought her vehicle in to have the paint done on the hood of her vehicle. Had some chipped areas. And after a few months the paint started to chip again. Didn’t even bother to call and complain was so irritated..

Dan’s has been my repair shop for about 10 years. Always very happy with their work and they’re great people to work with.

UNETHICAL This place ripped my wife's elderly dad off regularly and I have the receipts to prove it. On one occasion he called them because his battery was dead they came out and instead of giving him a jump towed his car charged him for the jump start at the shop and replaced his alternator which they had just replaced 6 months earlier. Stay away I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of those places that doesn't actually replace parts and charges for it.

i went to dan's auto service because my husband had done business there in the past and was very satisfied. also they are centrally located and offered a ride home (and picked me up when the service was done.) my prime concern was leaking on the inside of the windshield (it looked as if it had rained inside) of our 2007 silverado. they discovered a leak behind the back seat had occurred also and did a good job sealing the area. it has poured a lot since and there is no recurrance of either situation..and they did some sleuthing to find the cause of both! also, the driver side rearview mirror motor was broken and wouldn't adjust and the unit hung at an angle, it needed to be replaced. they did it with chevy parts, which i preferred. and i am "on the road again" as the song goes!

I have taken my car to Dan's twice. The first time was ok experience but was a bit pricey ( around $500 to replace a censor). My second experience was not as good. Was charged $501 to fix a broken seat. They fixed my seat, however, i believe they broke something in process as is does not move correctly. I tried to resolve the issue with them and they claimed it was broken when they inspected. That function of the seat they claimed was broken worked fine when I brought the car to them. I don't find them to be trustworthy. A friend of mine recommended Checkpoint Motors in Oregon City, and they have fantastic reviews, I will be going there next time. UPDATE...2/2/17 DANS AUTOMOTIVE CALLED AFTER I POSTED THIS REVIEW NOT BEFORE...WHY WOULD THEY CALL BEFORE? MAKES NO SENSE... THE SEAT WORKED FINE UP AND DOWN BUT WOULD NOT GO BACK. THEY FIXED THE BACK AND FORTH , BUT WILL NOT GO UP AND DOWN NOW. GO TO CHECKPOINT MOTORS, THEY HAVE GREAT REVIEWS AND LOOK TO BE TRUSTWORTHY.
