My dad lives in North Plains and when his doctor retired he chose this doctor. I have to say I initially had no opinion either way of Dr. Gardner but my dad liked him and as a nurse he seemed very competent. As time has gone on I can say that this doctor has done more for my dad in the last 6 months than any other doctor has done in many years. I can imagine that the appointments are not on time because each person has very differently needs and issues. It’s gone from a time where most doctors have 15 to 20 minute time slots and then your time is up. The diagnosis is fast and the doctor has not looked past the bare minimum to get the appointment over in time. This is not the case at North Plains. He takes time with each patient and doesn’t rush through the appointment. I am happy waiting for someone like this to care for my dad.

My mom live in north plains and this is the only doctor in town. Had an appointment at 3:30. Because the doctor is ALWAYS running late we call ahead to check. We were told that there was only 1 person ahead of us so we came in. We have been waiting for 55 minutes and still have not seen the doctor. I guess if your the only doctor in town you can make your patients wait as long as you want. If I did my job this way I wouldn't have a job anymore. I would make the drive to somewhere else because this place clearly doesn't care about their patients
