Not great food or service. High prices for the food but nice to eat with the sea lions.

Mediocre service and food. There was only one bartender acting as bartender, waitress, and hostess. I was not checked on to refill my water or beer. I ordered pan fried oysters, which were cooked perfectly. No complaints there. I ordered halibut fish and chips as my entree. The fish was over cooked and dry. The coleslaw side lacked flavor. I may have caught them on a bad night, but I won't be returning to try again.

We went to this restaurant only because the restaurant we wanted to go to had an more than a hour wait. There was no one in the restaurant when we first walked in and we had to call out before a waitress came to serve us. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very poor - there was dried food on the ground and the tables were not very clean. On top of that, the bathroom looked worse than the public washrooms and the dispensers desperately need to be refilled. There was only one waitress the entire time, so I felt bad for the people waiting to be served. However, the food, including the seafood, was decent, surprisingly. What surprised us even more, was when the waitress served us bowls of clam chowder that had the soup spilling over the sides, which was shocking. She could obviously see that whoever dished out the chowder into the bowls did a very sloppy job but still served it to us anyways. Although this restaurant would not be considered fine-dining, almost all the entrees were at least $20. I would not recommend this restaurant, even if all the other restaurants are full, unless it was for Restaurant Impossible on the Food channel.

do not come here. one of the staff members was hot headed and wanted to fight a group of customers after they complained. The table was sticky and "staff" would walk in plain clothes directly into kitchen. all in all I would spend your money elsewhere. view is the only think good about this place.
