Dr. Stein is undoubtedly the best doctor I have ever been to! I started seeing Dr. Stein 2 years ago for mold related illnesses. The first step in treatment is removal from the moldy environment, however, for the first year I was unable to do this. Dr. Steins patience with me and my situation meant so much to me, as this was the darkest time in my life. I could not have gotten through it without her unwavering support.
Dr. Stein has been through similar experiences as her patients, and I believe this is what makes her such an exceptional doctor. Not only is she highly knowledgeable, but she provides a level of care and compassion that is almost impossible to find these days.
Given Dr. Steins similar journey, she is able to be that beacon of hope her patients so desperately need.
I would not be where I am today without Dr. Stein! I went from having nearly 50 symptoms and spending my days either in bed or on the couch to now having only a couple symptoms and being active all day.
Thank you Dr. Stein for your expert knowledge in mold related illnesses, and for your unfailing support!

I sat on whether or not I wanted to post this but I think it's vital to other people that are unwell. I came to them at first virtually decently stable for the first time in my life working,hiking,gaining weight but I got the idea to "treat" in fear of my future. They started by taking my babesiosis that I at the time had close to no symptoms of out of dormancy I didn't know much about treatment or that dormancy is the best you can be. They stopped the treatment within two weeks and I got so bad I truly believed I could die. I had to be rushed by ambulance from tachycardia and severe full body tremoring I would go nine days no sleep I was getting extremely bowel sick and would gag when eating a bunch of things came out of hiding I lost 16lbs in two weeks.The suffering was immeasurable they were incompetent with after care. By the time I was able to get more care from them in person I dealt with a condescending attitude and rude behaviour not from my initial doc there either my case was shared it put a pit in my stomach. The office staff are kind and the people helping with IVs are also nice but I would never recommend them I got very ill in early October it is now the end of January and I am still fighting for my life. Tick borne diseases are tricky and dangerous the lack of empathy from the head person was bizarre I was a guinea pig to them my quality of life is truly horrible now I would urge anyone seeing them to be mindful of their goal. I was coerced to move to town after this happened for "aggressive treatment" even though they would not explain what that was .I was in Portland to receive care for a month in and out of emergency and new doctors to save me I only saw them twice that month being told to take gluthathione and some salt as if that would get me back to where I was. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Dr. Stein and her staff truly care for the patients and are intentionally involved in taking the time and care needed to take the best route to getting the patient better while managing the symptoms that may come up while addressing the illness. Their goal is definitely holistic as the entire team looks at you, not just physically, but your emotional, mental and spiritual well being as you are being treated, just as their website indicates, so that you are taken care of as you undergo treatment and you go at a pace that is comfortable for you, not their agenda. That is refreshing in this fast-paced world, as sometimes it is not convenient to have herxing while you are out in society.
I highly recommend Dr. Stein and any of the staff if you desire to get to the root of your illness, and aren't looking for a quick fix to your symptoms. You won't regret it. Quick fixes result in just a quick cocktail. We want to live a life worth living in better health.
