Did not respect my religious views i wanted my placenta and they ignored my wishes and had it thrown out when i had stated multiple times i wanted it my son went to the NICU because he was born at 37 weeks with some issues breathing but was taken off air within the first couple hours but then next day had a rip in his lung and his chest full of air that no one noticed until i commented on his strained breathing while trying to feed him i am honestly so disappointed with my whole experience i had my older son 4 years ago and was treated horribly because my husband wasnt able to be there i thought this time would be different but it was worse in different ways just ruined both of my birthing experience

I delivered my little baby girl at Asante. I had the best care my little baby girl had the best care. After I had the epidural I started to feel lightheaded and nasuaed and they saw that so they immediately went into action and rushed me into the OR for a C section. I had preaclampsia and I'm so glad for the doctors and nurses that took care of me and my little girl. I thank God for each and every one of them. THANK YOU TO ASANTE NURSES AND DOCTORS IN THE ASANTE BIRTHING CENTER ALSO IN THE MATERNAL CHILD WARD AND IN THE NICU AS WELL AS THE SPECIAL CARE NURSERY.

I just wanted to let everyone know if your giving birth at Asante family birthing center be careful and if the ob is Kenneth jacobs you should know he fractured my daughters collar bone pulling her out the wrong way and with to much force he was not supposed to even deliver her but my labor was to fast and the midwife that was supposed to deliver her got there right after she was born and he told her she needed to sign that she delivered the baby and he got up and walked out they also hid the fact that she had a fractured collar bone till we were getting discharged over 30 hours later even tho she stayed up crying the whole time we were there and I kept telling them something was wrong I just wanted to bring attention to how they handle things there plz share so people know

Had my baby there 2 days ago I wanted to say my team of mid wives and nurses were the best I really wanted to give a huge shout to my mid wives Linda, Wendy and my after care nurses Maryanne and Stephanie they went above and beyond were so caring and understanding what a momma goes through after labor highly reccomend this birth center
