    image Justin spent couple hours with me. Good impression and then no follow up. Said 2 weeks to get a door sample. Waited 2 months without a call. I called him and no apology just an excuse. Told him sad that I was the one to call him. After reading other reviews am so glad I didn't hire him.

    image Justin Huff is a very nice person but my experience with his company was very negative. I hired him to reface my cabinets it started out well mid-May 2016 and was to be completed mid June 2016. Justin finished as much as he would do in December 2016. There was a delay on my part due to me being hospitalized in November. Numerous times I had to call/email the Kitchen Tuneup headquarters and have them work with Justin to get the project completed.
    The sheetrock work done on my ceiling was very poor to the extent the painter when he arrived with his crew would not paint the kitchen ceiling until it was corrected, the cabinet doors/drawers were delayed for at least 6 weeks, the new dishwasher shorted out the first time I used it after it was installed, in my contract I was to have a new garbage disposal installed only to find out in January 2017 when it started leaking it was never replaced. When I brought this to Justin’s attention he did have me deduct the $325.00 (plumbers bill) from my final bill. The cabinet doors had to be reordered several times due to incorrect sizes and poor quality workmanship. When I complained to the cabinet company I found out the drawer fronts that go with my doors were not the ones Justin had ordered. I received cheap looking flat front doors vs the decorative drawer fronts that went with the doors. Currently I am in the process of ordering the correct fronts. Justin installed tile on my kitchen backsplash and fireplace surround I came home to find him trying to scrape off the grout with a screwdriver. His explanation was that he applied the grout to all of the tile at once realized he needed more went to Home Depot and when he got back he could not wipe off the excess. All of the tile had to be removed, when new tile was installed the finish work was unacceptable the salesman from the tile company came to my home and determined it was not installed properly this was also confirmed by another tile salesman. Justin insisted it was installed correctly and several options were tried to clean it up all of which failed. I hired someone else to clean it up the best they could. The finish work still does not look professional. My neighbors complained about a mess that was left in the common stairwells and hallways which I ended up having to clean because Justin would not take care of it until Monday which was unacceptable to my neighbors.
    The only part of the project that went smoothly was the quartz countertop and I am very happy with it.
    This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I disagreed with the final bill I received but decided it was better to pay it and have him go away then it was to end up in a lengthy battle over it.

    image Please note, it made me select at least one star. We had an appointment scheduled with Justin on February 20th, 2016. The appointment time was to be between 2:00 and 2:30. 2:30 came and went with no call. My husband called him around 3:00 and at that point he said he was running late and didn't have our phone number. He arrived around 4:00. He spent 2 + hours discussing our cabinets and countertops with some knowledge, but no direction in his consult. We had to ask the majority of the questions. We were hoping he would inform us of options in a timely manner and to not have to fish for information on what they could do. To top it all off WE NEVER HEARD BACK from him with an estimate for our kitchen cabinets and counter tops. We still haven't. We've obviously gone with someone else at this point. We don't recommend this company. Don't believe what they say on their web page, I'll paste it.

    image We ordered with Justin in March 2016. He said it takes a month to receive the cabinets for our refacing job.
    He said he needed half the cost of the job up front. We've given him more than $6800.
    After many unreturned calls and emails, I wrote the franchise company and they wrote back that they were contacting him and forwarded my email. I had asked for our money back. When he wrote that he was sending someone the following Monday, I decided to give him another chance.
    His employee showed up and began working 2 weeks ago. He missed a day because he was ill, but the following week he had 2 days off that were planned a long time ago. I asked Justin why he wasn't doing the work. He said he was now a project manager. So basically, he doesn't do the work anymore.
    The employee has been doing great work. The problem is with the manager/owner Justin Huff.
    He had told us he had all the pieces except for a cabinet. Well, that was in April. We had no reason to believe the work wouldn't start soon after. Today we learned from his employee that the drawers won't
    Arrive until next week. This after his telling us he had everything but a cabinet for the island. The
    Frosted cabinets are also not here. He took our pantry doors to paint and they aren't back either.
    We should have cancelled and demanded our money back as we are going on vacation now and the job won't be done before we leave.
    When I asked Justin why it's been taking so long, he said he overbooked. Since I just learned that the drawers aren't here, I haven't asked him about why they aren't.
    This has been an aggravating experience and I can't recommend Justin Huff in any way. He had started out
    Like gangbusters to get our business. Then he disappeared. It is August 19, 2016 as I write this.
    I would give no stars, but at least one is required. I feel sorry for his hardworking employee who shows pride in his work.
