Zvi Strassberg, PHD

Highly recommended evaluators were unavailable. Our attorneys pressed us to move forward with an available evaluator and identified Dr. Strassberg; because he was available, not because he has good. We researched him (aside from his terrible online reviews) and learned he wasn't respected and had a reputation for unethical behavior and poor work. Our attorneys understood but asked us to use him to keep our case moving forward; instead of waiting for a respected professional. Sadly, we agreed. My ex-wife and I agree on one thing. It is that we both failed our children by using Dr. Strassberg. His reputation as unethical, dishonest, sloppy, and delivering unsupported information and poor work is very accurate. The most important lesson you can learn from our experience is to wait for a qualified evaluator and avoid Dr. Strassberg. Our children are traumatized by their interaction with him, his tactics, and his senseless recommendations. He will harm you both and your children.

Attorney Laura Rackner referred us to Dr. Strassberg. We did win custody of our son. Sadly, what we learned is we won nothing. Their "win at all costs" mentality and focus on spinning lies and dishonesty like no other cost us the emotional health of our children. We don't imagine our children will ever recover from their time alone in a room with Zvi Strassberg and the harm he did. Shame on you Attorney Rackner for referring us to this cruel unbalanced man and your conduct. Shame on you Zvi Strassberg for the unethical man you are. Shame on you both.

Overall HORRIBLE person, all of his positive evals come from colleagues, he can’t be trusted, he’s completely unethical and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy and if you truly NEED or WANT help with a psychological issue, look elsewhere. I wish you could leave less than one star because I would!

Dr. Strassberg could have helped our mother with alcohol and drug addiction. He was asked to help. Instead he hid the information because it would not help a lawyer. My sister and I endured years of alcoholism, pot smoking, and abuse because of him. He may not have been able to help her. But he didn't have to lie, hide information, and enable her. When we tried to get her help, she told us what he did and used it as an excuse for her drinking and drug use.

Dr. Zvi Strassberg is unethical and dishonest. Positive reviews come from Lawyers and professional peers. He is not viewed positively by his patients. He does more damage than could possibly be imagined. He is arrogant and unable to acknowledge or admit errors. Hiding behind his academic look is a very disturbed person who should not be trusted with anything that is important in your life.
