        Great food. Friendly people. We had the carne asada & the taco carbona. Both tasted great! Portions were perfect. The restaurant is kind of tucked in an obscure place in an old shopping mall and from the outside, it doesn't look like it would be good. We were taken by surprise by how delicious it was. Not much Mexican food available in L.O., but now that we have found El Ranchito, we are good to go!

        I highly recommend this place! The staff are friendly and the margaritas are delicious. Don't forget dessert: the fried ice cream is awesome!
