Diane Ulicsni Coaching - NLP, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, Brainspotting, PTSD & Trauma Therapy

It is unfortunate but I would not recommend Diane to anyone seeking counseling. Diane comes across as competent and oversells her services. I learned the hard way after working with Diane for several months. Diane lacks professionalism and is highly volatile. She kept convincing me I was traumatized and desperately needed to work with her to improve my life. I did have some blocks that I wanted to clear so I agreed. After several weeks of work she fell off the face of the earth. She had her daughter text me to tell me her mother had to cancel. I had no problem with Diane's need to cancel but having her daughter relay the message is just weird. I waited several weeks to get an appointment. Diane did not reach out to me once to let me know what was going on. This is weeks and weeks of Diane insisting I am traumatized and that I have unresolved abandonment issues that only she can help to heal. Diane is unreliable. I suggested to her that she have a back-up therapist in case something comes up and she flipped out and told me to work with someone else. This woman is extremely combative with patients. She will convince you that you are broken and you need her in order to heal. I would stay far away from this woman until she gets into counseling herself and deals with her temper. She is unpredictable, unprofessional and is a disgrace to her "profession".

Diane is a true life saver. Her vast expertise in EMDR, Brain spotting, NLP and hypnotherapy make her a rare talent to find. Diane's ability to understand her patients issues particularly with PTSD, anxiety and panic disorder are amazing! No cure is overnight, it takes work and perseverance but Diane can teach you the tools you need to have a better life. There is no one like her in the Portland area. I cannot say enough great things about her!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Diane is the absolute best at what she does. I've worked with her for over 10 years. When I decided to change careers and become a working artist she helped me make the transition, it took a few years, and now I am happy to say I am making a living as a working artist. The creativity and art flows easily and galleries come to me with little to no effort. I now have representation all over the US. Diane knows the right questions to ask to get to the root of a block/problem. She then applies EMDR, brain spotting, NLP...what ever is necessary to get me unstuck. It's like magic! I highly recommend her services!

Diane kept saying that the hypnotherapy needed more time even though I made zero progress. This was back when I knew almost nothing about therapy. I now believe that hypnotherapy is a sham with very little evidence to back it up. She made thousands off of my ignorance, and I ended up with even worse anxiety and depression. I went on to develop harmful behaviors even worse than before. She ought to have referred me out to someone better. What helped me in the end was mindfulness with CBT and DBT.

Diane saved my life! The first therapist to help me heal my anxiety, ocd, bulimia and all the behaviors and thought patterns from my childhood sexual abuse. Not only did she help me heal my past, I gained the confidence to move forward in my future no longer frozen by limiting beliefs. I continue to see Diane for tune ups because life is dynamic and I always want to feel empowered to deal with what comes my way. She continues to educate herself in the latest trauma techniques so I continue to benefit from her even 19 years after my first session. Her compassion and focused attention are unmatched! I’ve seen a few therapists since Diane as I moved to another state and no one compares. So thankful for technology! I can’t imagine what my life would look like had I not found her and grateful I don’t have to.
