    Dealing with this company was a disaster when it came to serious oil Furnace repair needs. My furnace ran out of oil and needed to be restarted. After I ran out, I put plenty of fuel in the tank (At least 10 inches of oil). The guy from Carson who came out to start my furnace, said it was sucking up air every couple of minutes and that I was probably out of oil. So I put more oil in the tank and called them out again to get it working correctly again. The second repairman who came out said I was out of oil. Both times I was billed for nearly $200, but the problem still had not been resolved. They came out of third time to try and resolve the problem because my furnace had to be bled of air every time I wanted to use it. I was bleeding Air from the fuel lines every few hours whenever I wanted the furnace to start and give heat to the house. There was all kinds of air being sucked into the fuel lines for whatever unknown reason. The repairman struggled for about an hour and a half to figure out what was going on. At one point he got it to work for a few minutes, then it stopped again. He proceeded to disassemble the furnace further to perform additional diagnosis, but could not figure out what was going on. By this time I started to cringe at being billed $200 an hour. I finally told the person to stop and to just put my furnace together and leave. The next day I found another furnace repairman who had it running in about an hour and a half. The furnace has been working ever since. I will never use Carson oil for oil furnace repairs again!!!

    They wont give you a delivery window, they refuse to call when theyre on their way no matter the time of year (busy season or not), they are not helpful on the phone, and are more expensive than everyone else. Go with Star Oil and be happier with the service and cheaper prices. Trust me. Not to mention they call you no matter the time of year, because thats best practice. If you cant give a delivery window, then you should call. Carson will not call you, no matter the reason. They told me once that if my chickens got out because they wouldnt tell me when they were coming so I could be there, they would not try to catch them, and they would not be able to call me to notify me if they were busy. Its absurd how rude and self-centered they are as a company. No customer service at all.
