Good Samaritan Society - Fairlawn Village

I've been living at Fairlawn Village for six months. It is the best decision I could have made. I was apprehensive when I had to downsize, but this apartment is roomy with generous closet space and a storage room in the apartment, as well. Staff and residents are kind, patient and fun. I would recommend a tour if you're looking for a retirement home.

Applied for a housekeeper position in early October 2020, had phone interview and was asked ALL these questions? But wasn't hired, although I have 10 plus years of retirement home experience, housekeeping, caregiver and cooking/dietary! The hiring ad is back on job sites and it's October 31st?! WOW! Guess this wasn't the employer for me after All!!

Fairlawn Village is a great place to call home. Whether you are seeking skilled care, long term care, or senior living they have something for everyone. Fairlawn Village is a faith based and loving community and it shows. I work in the health care industry. The first time I walked into the community I was greeted with a smile from the person in the front office and throughout the community. They are professional, and courteous. Care is their top priority. They have a great reputation in the Gresham community. I would place my parent in their hands and know they would receive top rated services. Thank you Fairlawn Village for being the example of quality care and services in the senior health care industry.

As an employee of this facility I am so blessed with the leadership and teamwork I experience every day. This is truly a Christian based place to work. Prayer is an essential part of day. The resident are well loved and cared for and I couldn't be happier to call Fairlawn my work home.
