I love this place and always recommend it. I feel all the staff truly love animals and I feel my Cat gets great care at a very affordable price. They have a FANTASTIC monthly plan that has been wonderful for our kitten and I love the atmosphere of the office. I would encourage anyone to ignore the negative reviews especially the one's from a long time ago, I read through them and it is not the same place we visit. There are always a few people that have a bad experience anywhere (can't make everyone happy) that has not been our case at all though. Friendly, caring service and I never feel like I can't afford to take my pet to the vet! We will always go here and recommend it. I wouldn't rule it out based on a few disgruntled's.

We were concerned that our 4 year old Newfoundland dog, named Pie Face, was suffering from flees and / or a worsening of his previously diagnosed hip dysplasia and in need of surgery. Dr. Ron and his technician examined Pie Face and determined he was suffering from a yeast infection. They did a free medical exam, free heartworm test and free blood work. Before we left they even trimmed his nails for free. We were pleased to realize his condition could be treated quickly, that the blood work results would be available the next business day and that they even had a discount for his medication if he needed any. I would recommend this excellent facility to everyone!

I finally made the switch to a new vet after an entire year of dissatisfaction with Emerald Valley vet. When I started there, I joined the membership club that allowed discounts on shots and visits. This ended up costing hundreds of more dollars than if I had not joined. Every appointment I scheduled the vet was late from 20-45 minutes just to get me into the back room. From there I would sit for another 30-45 mintues just to wait for the check up and shots. I have healthy dogs so I was only ever there for shots. Except one time when I knew that there was something wrong with my dog, a lump that kept growing. For three visits they said it was a fat pocket and told me to stop over feeding my dog. She is an 8 pound terrier mix, not even close to overweight. I finally got them to do a biopsy of the spot. It was cancer. I wish they would have done so from the beginning, I had to beg them to do the biopsy. Also the two main Drs talked a lot about their personal lives, one time bringing in their dog and talking about their quirks (which totally freaked out my two dogs). I do not mind small talk, but not when it runs my appoinment over by 30+ minutes. 2 of different visits they took in walk ins before my SCHEDULED appointment. The final straw was this last visit, 1 hour late, allowed walk ins before me, and were out of one of the vaccinations I came for. But didn't tell me until I already had waited an hour. I walked out and found another place that scheduled me the very next day. I would never recommend anyone to go to Emerald Valley vet.
