I called and talked with the owner who said he would be interested in giving us a quote to powder coat the mail boxes for our community. He mentioned he was going home for the evening, but gave me his email address and said he would respond the next working day. I emailed him a description of what I wanted done along with photos and dimensions of the mailboxes, then I checked my email and junk mail daily for the next two weeks waiting for a reply. Finally, I called back and talked to one of his employees who said he had gotten the quote request, but was extremely busy however they would get to it shortly and get back to me with my quote request. Today after almost a month I called back and was told by the same employee that I talked with earlier, that they weren't interested in doing the job. Nice of them to value my time and request....I have been a professional businessman for almost 60 years and if I wasn't up to the job or didn't want to do it, I would at least have given the prospective client the courtesy of an answer either way. If this is how they respond to their quote requests, I can only imagine how they would handle a problem if I had done business with them. It goes along with the old adage that "if it starts out wrong, it usually never gets better".
