Dr. Carlstrom is a great guy and I've been happy with his chiropractic care. He's friendly, laid back and gentle- three qualities I appreciate in a chiropractor. I like that he uses the activator (see note below) but he has been really gentle even in the few instances that he has performed manual adjustments on me. He takes a lot of time to find the source of your pain and seems genuinely concerned about helping to improve your health. I wish he also focused on muscle problems like some of my previous chiropractors have, but I've still seen improvements since I started visiting him.It's never difficult to schedule an appointment and Donna, who handles all the appointments and the like, is really helpful. I'd recommend checking him out.*I found Dr. Carlstrom through the "activator" website- he's the only chiropractor in Eugene listed on the official website (an alternative chiropractic method, do a web search if you don't know it). He mentioned that other chiropractors in Eugene use the activator, but that none of them are "advanced proficiency rated," and, as such, aren't officially recognized by the site. I prefer chiropractic adjustments made with the activator over "manual" adjustments because they're much more gentle. Dr. Carlstrom also does manual adjustments, if that's what you prefer.
