When I saw the negative past employee comments I had to put my experience down. I loved working for QPMC. The administration always interacted with residents, and when my children had serious health issues, administration adjusted my days/hours so I could be a mom and keep my job. They provide health insurance (employee cost) at little cost which as a single parent and owed me to provide for my family. The benefits we're amazing. I had to relocate due to children's health issues but always regard this as favorite employer because of the care they give residents and the interaction.

They don't treat thier employees like employees. They brush alot under the carpet. I didn't enjoy my time there I felt harrassed. I was very surprised that a management team can be so unsupportive. I do have to say there was a few office administrators who were there and had your back but the others didnt care. They also were unorganized

My step-mom lived in Acorn Cottage at Quail Park for four years. I am so grateful for the compassionate, loving and competent care she received during those four years. The staff is extraordinary. They were ever vigilant and attentive to my stepmom's needs and those of every resident of that cottage. They were extremely well trained and educated about the needs and challenges of caring for people with declining mental faculties. They always paid attention to and even anticipated behavioral difficulties, adroitly defusing many before they even started and actively and compassionately handling any manifested ones. The residence part of the facility consists of five cottages encircling a large, wonderfully well maintained garden. The doors to this inner courtyard are always unlocked, so residents can, as they desire, wander the meandering paths of the gardens or enter any of the five cottages. This allowed a lot of independence while being under complete supervision at all times. The gardens are wonderful - full of many colorful flowers, bushes and small trees. There are strategically placed benches for resting and observing. There is a simple, ingenious waterfall. One always had a sense of being in close contact with the outdoors. My stepmom and I spent hours wandering the paths and marveling at various flowers, blossoms and shrubs. When my stepmom moved in, she was relatively mentally viable, and the multitude of supervised crafts, music and activities helped nurture her fading faculties. The nutritious food is cooked on site, in each cottage, so there is a feeling of hominess surrounding meal preparation, as aromas of cooking food extends throughout the building. I end this review as I started, with a profound expression of appreciation and affection for all of the hard-working staff who worked so diligently to care for my stepmom during her 4-year tenure at Quail Park.

I am working here currently. I love it, the care staff is very well trained and we all work as a team here. The office staff are also very nice. I've worked at a couple memory care places and they cannot compete with the care staff. Also, the cooks are amazing and very helpful as well. It's funny how all the bad reviews never go into detail about why they're so upset. They just say some little sentence or just mark 1 star without saying anything. Quail is NOT a disgusting place. And we DO take very good care of our residents and treat them like family. I've witnessed it, I just started working there a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was going to be like the other memory care places I worked at. But it's very different. It's different when the RCC and staff are actually a team and help each other and there's no favoritism or care staff leaving residents dirty or unkempt. Everyone is cared for like family. So, in my eyes, those bad reviews are irrelevant to me.
