We hired Joe to rebuild our fence. We knew when we purchased the house that the fence would need replacing. It came down in several places during a January storm. We met with & took bids from several contractors. We really liked Joe from the start. All his reviews were great and we liked how he listened to what we wanted and then helped us tailor it to suit our property. He worked in the worst weather (it snowed, rained, hailed...you name it...) and then, when he was 99% done, the ice storm hit and a neighbor's tree took out part of the brand new fence. He was so kind. Came back and did repairs on the part he'd already built and finished up the part that wasn't done. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He came in on budget and was very fair in his pricing. Highly recommended! Service: Roadworks

Joe is a truly exceptional handyman. In addition to being very skilled in providing a wide variety of services, he is a good communicator and follows through on what he agrees to do. He goes above and beyond as well by making suggestions and problem-solving without pushing his agenda.
The attached photo shows one project Joe did for me. He replaced three 1960’s vintage sliding closet doors. He put drywall up and doubled the space inside so now there’s a small walk-in closet, and doors that are attractive (to me) and make the space easily accessible.
I recommend him without reservations to anyone needing a handyman.

Joe has demonstrated imagination and resourcefulness in a variety of tasks he's completed around our house and grounds. He built a wonderful, sturdy, good-looking fence and gate. He tackled a fireplace mantel that had been botched by the out-of-state outfit we foolishly bought it from; he fashioned a new mantel and surround that are both handsome and sturdy, and aesthetically suited to the house. He's helped with numerous smaller jobs, fitting closet doors, for example, repairing ruined wallboard. Joe's competence is matched by his pleasant personality. He's responsible, reliable, and honest. We know we can count on him, no matter how tricky the job, and he is a joy to have around. Services: General repairs, Roadworks

Joe repaired many rotting boards on my large decks, tightened boards that were loose and squeaking, painted the whole thing, and generally gave it another 10 years of life. Also repaired roof beams and sheathed them with Hardyplank to deter woodpeckers. Such a big improvement! He’s a HARD worker, honest, reliable, and reasonable.
