Tried to communicate multiple times days in advance to cancel my reservation due to covid, and never received feedback or confirmation of my cancelation. I sent multiple messages different ways, but was still charged the full bill. Thier phone number led to an automated recording to leave a message but the line just kept ringing.

Slow but friendly check-in. Tiny bathroom: I am a large man and could barely fit in the shower. Lots of noise from both other people and the road. Great location near truck stop, Amtrak, and Crater Lake. The new owners said they plan to renovate, so I expect this place will be better in a couple of years.

It’s nothing fancy, definitely just a place to sleep and rest. We booked the room through Airbnb. Positives- very close to Crater Lake National Park, conveniently located next to two gas stations and KJ’s Cafe (great breakfast diner), the bed was comfortable and had extra blankets. Negatives- could have been cleaner. We wanted to turn the ceiling fan on but there was a lot of built up dust on it so we decided not to. There was also a lot of dog hair under the bed. The bathroom floor also didn’t seem to be very clean so we put down a towel. We only had one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom which we unfortunately didn’t notice until it ran out and we needed it… lol. It is located right off the main highway so it can be noisy if you’re a light sleeper, but I didn’t mind it too much. Overall, it could’ve been cleaner but it was cozy, comfortable, and conveniently located.
