People working at Coastal Home Heath & Hospice are dedicated, caring and knowledgeable, in my experience with my partner's end-of-life and my in-home post-surgical therapy. Great program, wonderful people.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star!! Horrible, horrible place. There was no comfort about it! They took his cpap machine, knocked him back down to 3-4 liters of oxygen, and told me to give him Halidol for his yelling. He yelled cuz he wanted to sit up and I was not able to help him alone! They said they couldn't help me with that. They said a lift was too big for the trailer (a friend of mine has a lift I just saw the other day and it would fit in the trailer). They wouldnt get medicine for sores in his mouth. They wouldnt come help clean a bedsore. They said they couldn't find a volunteer for 2 hours on a thursday. But the Halidol (they said for nausea and anxiety) was the worst of it!! Its technically for schizophrenics and is supposed to be carefully monitored by the dr!!! The Halidol has a common side effect of shutting down the body and nervous system, painful!!! They did absolutely nothing to make him comfortable, nothing!!! It was like, hurry up and die!!! And the nurse, a few days before he passed, in her report, literally put 'he's still laying there wasting away'!! They are horrible, twisted, people who don't care about, nor have respect, for those leaving life!!!

I am a travel nurse I have worked at 16 different locations throughout the country. This is by far the best. The communication is top notch. The level of patient care is amazing. It makes me feel like I can truly be a nurse.
