Bend Cab Company

Very unhappy. Flight was late so I texted the number that asked for my flight info many hours before I arrived. Apparently the driver did not get the info, nor check the flight arrival time. Charged me $50 instead of "flat rate of $40 from airport" because he had to wait (less than one hour) as he didn't check the flight info before he left his house. Total BS. I had one other good experience with your company but will not use them again and will tell my friends I do not recommend this company.

This cab company is horrible, we set up pick the night before at 6am because we needed to catch bus back to Portland. I woke the next morning and they canceled our ride without warning. I then called them and they said there was no worries our cab would be there. We then sat and waited and nobody showed. I then called them back, and they said they had no driver for us, and they would not pick us up. Worst cab service ever and they should be shut down.

Lyft made me wait 40 minutes and I still didn't find a ride. Rilee was on time, literally showed up within 10 minutes of being hailed, his cab was clean, and the conversation wasn't forced. Great ride from a great guy. Keep it up guys, you're killing it.

I read some earlier reviews and got scared but I'm not anymore. Professional, on time, communication is great, cars are clean. Plus my driver wasn't a creep so that was nice too

On 8-27-2021, I took my truck to Les Schwab for an Alignment and a tire repair. I did not expect to be there long. Well, “Murphy’s law struck again.” After the alignment was finished, a senior Tec inspected the work and found an issue in my steering. So, of course that had to be repaired also, which left me and my dog needing a ride home. After pounding my head on the counter for what seemed like eternity while trying to book a ride with Uber or Lyft, I finally called Bend City Cab (BC). Now, I have not had the best of luck with BC in the past, so I was hesitant to even waste my time with them, but I had no other options. When I called BC, I recognized the dispatcher right away as he IS NOT the Friendliest Person to speak with, in addition, he seems to have considerable difficulty understand English which makes communicating with him even more challenging. That said, we got through it and to my surprise, a cab showed up in 10 minutes! Exactly when he said it would. WOW right. The driver, Ryan, was very pleasant and professional. His cab was VERY CLEAN! - The last cab that I hired from BC was filthy and had an offensive odor in it. Like when you’re driving down the road and suddenly, a foul smell seems to fill up your car... Anyway, Ryan gave us a very pleasant ride home. A+ for that guy... Now, the return trip back to Less Schwab that same evening with another driver from BC, well, let’s just say that he, (the other driver from BC) was the opposite as far as driving styles. Speeding, tailgating, (he almost ran into the back of another car), and so on. I felt like I climbed into a carnival ride and they turned up the power... Another person may have been cowering on the floor, or maybe even screaming at the guy lol In conclusion: I suppose not all the responsibility falls on BC for bad experiences due to some of their drivers, however, they should vet their drivers better, and at the very least, when people leave negative reviews, the company should take notice and handle their “business”! It’s important to note that not all their drivers are questionable. Some are responsibly professionals who care about who they are transporting. My suggestion, read the reviews for Bend City Cab before climbing into a stranger’s car. Do not assume BC has properly vetted the drive that shows up. You may get the ride of a lifetime... Cheers
