Ryan Briggs is amazing! We weren’t sure the wall our contractor removed was a load bearing wall so we contacted Ryan. He took the tine to pull the county records of our 16 year old home we just bought and researched the load bearing design of the house, and concluded we were fine which definitely helped us sleep at night! Whenever we have questions he’s prompt to reply and very courteous. We would highly recommend him and will be using him again if circumstances arise. Thank you Ryan!!!

I called Ryan Briggs from Arx Engineering for a quote on a home structural inspection and he asked me about the symptoms and background of my problems. After explaining my issues to him he recommended that I first talk to a geotechnical engineer as it was critical to address any potential on-going settling issues before conducting a structural inspection. Instead of taking the job and my money as two other companies were ready to do, he was more concerned about properly addressing and fixing the problem. I subsequently used Ryan to do a structural inspection of my house and second-story deck because of excessive stucco cracking to both. After viewing the numerous cracks and doing some borescope analysis on the deck's hidden wood structure (for flooring crack), he gave me a number of good comments and recommendations regarding the issues and remedies. He also agreed to advise me in confirming the scope of work with deck repair contractors if needed. Ryan is very diligent and knowledgeable and I'd highly recommend him.
