Beware!! In August 2023 Partners in Care sent an employee to my home who injured my dad while he was under their hospice care. I called Partners in Care to discuss the injury and ask how they would prevent other patients from being injured. The person I spoke to on the phone promised a manager would call me back, but months later, no one has called me back. I also visited the company's physical address in Bend, in person. I spoke to a non-manager employee and explained to her how their employee injured my dad. She cried when I told her what happened to my dad. She told me she would let "them" know what happened. That was weeks ago, and again, no one from Partners in Care has contacted me about my dad's injury. Since PiC decided to completely ignore me and the harm they caused my family, I reached out to a high-level employee at an Oregon hospice advocacy group. When I explained what happened to my dad and the lack of response from Partners in Care, the employee strongly suggested I file a complaint with The Oregon Health Authority. I did heed her advice and filed a complaint. I will say that the nurses caring for my dad did an excellent job. It's not the fault of the nurses my dad was injured. My dad was injured by an employee who was not a nurse. I have a moral and ethical duty to warn prospective clients about Partners in Care and the horrific experience we endured. After PIC harmed my dad, he became angry and depressed. I believe the consequence of the harm Partners in Care perpetrated upon my dad caused my dad and I to lose quality and quantity of time together. It was a nightmare experience I don't want anyone else to have to endure.

I have had the pleasure of working with PIC for the last 17 years as they have provided Home Health, Hospice, and Transitions services to hundreds of residents and families at Touchmark. They are amazing people and provide the highest level of compassionate and professional service. It is an honor to work with them!
