Jack is extremely knowledgeable and thorough.  He uses he general contractor experience and knowledge of building codes to methodically inspect every aspect of a home.  His reports are very easy to read and do a great job summarizing all the issues that need to be addressed.  Jack has done several inspections for me over the last year. One inspection saved me from buying a home with hidden disasters (which were not fully uncovered until going into the crawl space).  His rates are about the same as other inspectors in the area.  Jack is prompt, courteous, and pleasant to work with.  I would highly recommend Jack.  He does a much better job than inspectors I have used in other cities.

I was not yet residing in Bend when Jack Myrwang was suggested to me as a good person to inspect the house I had just made an offer on. The escrow would only be ten days, so we had to move fast. Jack arranged to perform the inspection within two days of my contacting him. He emailed me the report the afternoon of the inspection and was immediately available to answer all my questions. His inspection was thorough and his report so beautifully formatted that I could easily separate the details from the big picture. I could see at a glance what needed immediate attention, what could wait, and what might be coming up in the future. This was enormously helpful to me in formulating a compromise with the buyer.I can give Jack Myrwang the highest recommendation.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Jack Myrwang of BendPro Home Inspections. We have nothing but GREAT things to say. We trusted the recommendation of our realtor since we are moving from out of the area, and didnt know anyone in the Bend, OR area. What a great recommendation! As soon as the appointment for the inspection was made, Jack sent us a contract by email, and was extremely available to answer questions etc. One the day of the inspection, Jack arrived right on time and had blocked off most of the  day for this appointment. He is organized, methodical and thorough. And he encouraged us to follow him around the property as he inspected it, which gave us a great opportunity to see the house from his perspective. He taught us a few things about home maintenance and living in the Bend Oregon temperatures, and we were extremely appreciative of the time it took him to make sure we were up to speed on these matters! After the inspection, Jack complies the information and photos he collected, into a very professional and detailed report, and had it to me by email later that night! Considering the time it takes to inspect a home properly, and the thoroughness of Jack's inspection, his price is well-deserved.
