I am so thankful I found flashdog! The training they provided to my dog and myself has helped transform our lives. Utilizing the e-collar has been a game changer and I feel so much more confident with my dog on and off leash! The staff at flashdog truly care about the dogs there and I know my dog is always in good hands with them.

I have a rescue mutt from warm springs res who had bad anxiety, lashed out at other dogs in the home. I was so overwhelmed an unable to communicate with her effectively while being worried she would cause serious damage to one of the other dogs in my home. I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have Flash Dog Training, I probably wouldn't have been able to keep her. The work they do is so amazing, I can't write a review long enough to give them the praise they deserve. Not only am I able to communicate with her, but her anxiety is down and most of all, I have CONTROL over her and structure that she appreciates. I see her make better decision to get away from the other dogs when she's uncomfortable where as before she would just lash out. I enjoy my time with her so much more now and I see her being more happy and less anxious. One thing I love most about Flash Dog Training is that they communicate with dogs in a non aggressive way. I feel almost like my dog went to a psychologist and I was able to get the break down on how she acts and why as well as what makes her special. As a dog owner is so important that we learn to communicate with the dogs in a manner in which we are comfortable. Bre is amazing and I enjoy talking with her about all the aspects of how my dog acts. You can tell they love what they do and are able to communicate with our fur babies in a way that we cannot. For me, it's a priceless ability. We just dropped off our second dog and can't wait to see the great results with him. Flash dog is BY FAR the best if you need to learn how to get control of your dog and learn to communicate. I can't give them enough praise. Also, since speaking with them and flash dog raw about my dogs diets, all of my dogs are on a raw food diet and THRIVING.

Flash Dog Training is a game changer! We adopted a Newfoundland puppy a year ago and have done their puppy training as well as regular obedience training as he (Walter) came into his adolescence. The puppy training was amazing! It gave Walter the tools and foundation needed to be a great dog and companion. We pick him up after his training and couldn’t believe it was the same dog! He was eager to obey commands and extremely gentle and responsive (even with our little kids). As Walter became 6 months, we did another round of training and this was so helpful and he continues to want to obey but encountered new experiences (leash training, socializing with other dogs and humans, etc) that we wanted to stay on top of because of his large size. Again, game changer. He’s so good on the leash, gentle, obedient, loving, responsive and a joy to have as part of our family. I credit all of this to Flash Dog Training - they’re truly the best!

I have a 2 year old intact male GSD who at the time I sent him to Flash (almost a year ago) was highly dog reactive and hyperactive from lack of socializing due to my inability to control his reactivity. When I talked to Bre at Flash, I was desperate and hoping for the possibility of getting him in training ASAP. She communicated with me throughout his training with updates, pictures and his general progress. When I picked him up from training he was a completely different dog. After we got in our routine, he truly blossomed with more confidence and trust in me to handle situations that he was once reactive to. Flash has been a life saver to us, our family and especially Kahn. I also travel out of town often and Flash is the only place I will send him. Their actual love and appreciation for my dog is not just a business to them. They all have a passion for what they do AND the dogs who’s lives they impact on such an amazing level. GO SEE THEM!

We brought Zero, our greyhound puppy (3 months old) home in August and fell in love with his quirky personality, warmth and the love that he brought to our family. However, pretty soon after he was home, I started noticing that he seemed very anxious and not at all confident with his environment. When we would go on walks he would pull us to the point we had thought about wearing gloves and he seemed so hyper alert with anything and everything around him. His anxiety kept getting worse and worse until the moment we went to get his last round of shots and his nails clipped at the vet. He was around 6 months old at this time. The techs came out to talk with me after they were finished and they were very frustrated and upset with him. Unbeknownst to me, they had 4 people pin him to the ground and administered his shots and clipped his nails and in the process he peed on one of them. They proceeded to tell me that my new lovable puppy was dominant and aggressive and that if I didn’t get him trained they would have to sedate him for all future appointments. As I sat there listening, so many emotions were running through my mind. Anxiety, fear, concern, embarrassment, feelings of failure in what I did wrong were a few of those emotions swirling in my head. After I got home and tried to process what just happened I went to work on researching trainers in the area. I called several “normal” trainers where you meet once a week for several months and you work on basic commands like sit, down, shake, etc. He already knew all of these commands as I have raised 3 puppies in my life. I kept feeling like this wasn’t going to be what he needed and that he needed more intensive training as I now had an “aggressive and dominant puppy”. I had another thought while I was researching on what the breeder had told me about greyhounds and that they could never be off leash. “A loose greyhound is a dead greyhound” she said due to their ingrained heavy prey drive. When we decided on bringing Zero into our family we grieved this thought as we love to hike, camp and explore the outdoors. I began to wonder if I could find a trainer that could tackle his behavioral issues as well as training him to be off leash? This would solve both of these issues and it would be the best possible outcome for Zero and our family. That is when I stumbled upon Flash Dog Training. I filled out the questionnaire online and then Kerry (the owner) followed up with me by phone. We talked for about an hour and Kerry was very knowledgeable about the developmental stages that a puppy goes through. Not only did she thoroughly explain that my puppy was in no way AGGRESSIVE OR DOMINANT she validated my thoughts and feelings on what took place at the vet's office. After talking with Kerry, I was sold on this training method and I knew we needed to send Zero to Flash Dog as she could work on his behavioral issues as well as training him to be off leash. I just had one concern before I could sign Zero up. The financial burden and getting my husband on board. I knew I was going to have to really work hard downloading everything Kerry said to me to my husband. My hubby got on board and we sent him to training! Zero has now been home with us for a little over a month from training. It’s so fun to see how much more confident and less anxious he has become since his training. We no longer have to think about wearing gloves while walking him as he stays right by your side and is now more focused on us than anything else in the environment. He can now go on hikes leash free thanks to the training and the e-collar. I’m so happy to see what he was born to do-RUN! We even went to a vet appointment and he was a bit nervous but nothing like before. Giving Zero a bath and nail trimmings weren’t even a possibility but now he handles them just fine. This training was worth every penny that we spent and I’m so grateful to Flash Dog. Do it!
