I didn’t know what to expect to be honest, but had a horror of loosing all our photos and the last 10 years of my working life!! WeRecoverData Staffs were friendly, simple, respectful, and quick turn around time. Data recovered, returned and lesson learned. Phew!! I highly recommend!

Jan 25, 2022: In December I went into the physical office location to inquire about recovering photos and videos off of a broken cell phone (battery issues). Their name within the office building is completely different, so was confusing to find. Front desk staff was not friendly and not tech savvy. Was told I needed to create a case myself, and that it was $95 refundable deposit (if they couldn't fix my phone, I would receive the $95 back). Provided the broken phone and shortly after received an update on the case that it would be over $1100 to complete what I was asking for. Not worth that amount of money to me, so requested they send the phone back to me, which is one of their provided options. It has been weeks and I have had no updates from them. I have inquired twice now via a support email and not been responded to. My broken phone is somewhere in New York and I haven't received the $95 back. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES. Update (1 hour later from original review): I was just called and told that they didn't have any updates for me until late yesterday when they received their box back from their carrier and it was empty. Apparently my device was STOLEN out of the distribution center (and then the empty box was sent back to them..?). Suspicious that I only get this call an hour or so after I leave my review and also strange that the empty box was sent back to them instead of continuing onto my address. I was repeatedly told it was not their fault, that it was stolen out of the distribution center but ultimately it's still their responsibility to assure my device is sent back to me. They will be opening a case with their delivery service and will keep me updated, and also plan to refund the $95 finally. Still would not recommend this company - you might not even get your device back. Will update as needed. Feb 16, 2022: I have received no call with an update on the case. No communication since I spoke with them 3 weeks ago.

Honestly, I was having heart palpitations thinking that I had just lost all the drone footage I captured over the last five years. WeRecoverData absolutely saved the day and did so while putting my mind at ease with great communication and prompt service. Such a relief. They achieved a full recovery of all of my files along with the original file folder structure. Double thumbs way up from me!
