K-appliance is super expensive for repair work. Called them to fix my ice machine. Turns out it needed a new pump. The guy (owner) goes out and gets a new pump comes back later and installs. Never telling me how much it's going to be. During the install repairs he tells me the new pump was $350....After he's done the bill says $397 for the pump, when I asked him about it he says "Oh I said it was around $350"....Normal rate to come out and inspect is $120, but he tacked on another $80 because he said it was a rush job even though I NEVER said to rush it. In the end I payed just under $600.00!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!

Our espresso machine stopped working so we took it in to K to see if it could be fixed. They told us the display panel needed to be replaced and it would be up and running again. This cost $200. We were in the middle of a move so we didn't have a chance to test it out immediately. When we got around to testing it out, it initially worked. However, within a few days the exact problem resurfaced and the machine is totally inoperable. K Appliance wont't refund anything and they say they no longer work on small appliances. $200 down the drain.

Only just getting around to writing this - seems as though they lost their endorsement from a manufacturer as an approved repair facility. We were referred to them for warrantee repairs. Took the automated espresso maker in, they gave me an estimate for repairing a leak, said they needed to order a part and it would take a while. Five weeks later I picked it up, unfixed, and took it to another shop. They opened it and found a loose connection. Nothing more. But...K Appliance wanted to charge me for the diagnosis which they never did. Are these guys still in business?They'll remember me because of the scene I made in front of other customers - I have never done that before but their quote was for almost $300. I got it fixed for nothing at a nearby shop - took him five minutes to take the case off and tighten the connection and he did it with a smile.

I would have done some research prior to doing business with these folks, apparently my landlords did not. Three days ago I received a call from this company with notification of a Monday delivery for a refurbished stove. They wanted to know what type of time window I would be available for and asked for a return call. I called back the number from which the call had been made, as well as the number left on my voice mail. Neither phone number had a voice mail box, so naturally I got a text message from my landlord in regards to why I had not contacted this company to set up a delivery time. Who doesn't have voice mail?When I finally got through to the guy, he said the stove would be delivered by 10am on Monday. Here it is, after 1:30pm on my one day off, the most beautiful day of the summer. I have errands to run, places to go. This is the weakest thing ever. I am so mad, these people ruined my weekend.
