I love the food here. I'm mostly vegetarian but eat chicken. The chicken here is great. The vegetarian options are ok, but what I really love are the sides. They have so many fresh vegetable sides that you can choose from and they're all good. I particularly love their fresh green beans. I wish it were closer to where I live now. I miss it.

So me and my father went her for lunch. He had the jambalaya pasta I had the chicken and crab cakes. We had the big dipper appetizer plate and we were eyeing the dessert menu because we were hungry. App comes and go just fine no problems. Entree comes out and I eat the crabcake and its not browned on both sides, but it tasted good so no problems. They got me the wrong side, but easy enough mistake. Then I tried the grilled chicken which was supposed to have a nice lemon butter sauce. I have worked as a cook in many place for almost a decade so I know a lemon butter sauce. When I take my first bite of chicken all I can taste is SALT. Not over seasoned, not a touch too much, my taste buds are blown out with salt. I stop eating and pops looks at it and he tries it and his taste buds are blown out with salt. I ask the waiter what sauce is supposed to be on the chicken, maybe I misread it I thought. Nope, it was lemon butter and it looked like a salt and cornstarch sauce. That sauce is one of the worst things I have ever eaten which is sad because the rest of the meal was ok. That one item was so bad that no one else should even risk going there just go somewhere else and call it good. Good servers good app horrendous main and the cook tried to eyeball me as I walk out to which I just smile back at him. Everyone makes mistakes and that is okay, but this sauce was so bad and the cook's attitude so unsavory I am not going back, if anyone asks I will say anywhere else is better, and overall it was an unsatisfying experience by someone who could not make a simple butter sauce without turning it into poison.
