Duane Rinkes Tractor Work

Duane has done lots of work for both myself and my family and let me tell you this; he is a toop notch operator with a knowledge base about the trade second to no one! He has an eye for detail and always makes the customer happy! Due to his work ethic and skill level he is always keeping busy. I am sure Duane is a fine excavator and does quality work, however his customer service is terrible. I contacted him regarding some excavation work over a week ago. He said he was very busy and wouldn’t be able to come out until today to provide a bid. I said I was in no rush and that would be fine. I never heard anything back regarding a confirmation or cancellation of our appointment. I called about an hour an half before we were supposed to meet and left a message. He called me back and said he was too busy and to call someone else. He claims that he told me that in the beginning but I wouldn’t listen. If this was the case I would have called someone else as there are plenty of excavators out there. He was referral, nothing more. I advised him that there was still no rush and I didn’t plan on breaking ground for some time. Again told me that I wasn’t listening and he was too busy and to call someone else. Asked for a referral, he said no that it always comes back and bites him. I have friends in the concrete industry and if they are too busy they always refer to another outfit. No apologies whatsoever. Not sure what happened as he was very pleasant during our intitial conversation. So good luck trying to schedule any work with Duane. It would have been nice if he told me that he was too busy a week and a half ago so I could have made other arrangements. Thanks Duane.
