Unprofessional. had a friend use this company, was not me personally but watch out. you can do better.

EDIT after owners response: We got NO heads up the kitchen was even being worked on until the DAY OF. We asked the WEEK before multiple times what was being done and they failed to mention they would be starting the kitchen AND our bedroom. If they had been able to communicate properly we would have had thing prepared and cleaned for them. There was ONE day the project started after 10:30, and even then they showed up late!!!!! We wanted them to come back at 11 am the following day after we had terminated the contract, but they decided it had to either be that night (after 7 pm) OR early in the morning around 7:30 am. While on the phone, we thought it would be best to not continue working with them since they got to defensive when we expressed our concerns, the wife did a dirty Hangup right after she stated we needed to “clean our house”. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CLEAN IF YOU HAD TOLD US WHAT ROOMS YOU WERE WORKING ON. 100% do not recommend Kirk’s Remodel & Repair run by Kirk Mikkelsen and his wife Mindy. Completely unprofessional with no concept of communication. After asking them several times what they were working on the week beforehand so we could have our home ready for them, they left out that they were going to be starting work in our kitchen and bedroom, which ultimately lead us to rush in an attempt to clear items out of the way. After bringing up our concerns with them they kept stating how they weren’t done and any texture that is uneven can be “wiped off” and that any paint on our counters, range, and range hood could be easily cleaned off after (ummm hello, painters tape BEFORE painting????). Not to mention the texture along our LVP flooring which we now have to clean off. Drywall anchors left in the wall and textured over TWICE after being brought up that they needed to be removed or knocked into the wall (which they them claimed would be another charge!!!!). They went on to claim how they are booked up months in advance and squeezed us into their schedule to do us a favor since we are selling our house soon. (Never mentioned this to us during the initial consultation). Now we’re out $1305.00 (half of the quoted price) and they’re claiming they feel they completeled 75% of the work. No longer working with them and will be completing the remaining steps on our own after they hopefully bring us back our cabinet doors and paint 🙄🙄🙄 Services: Interior decorating, Floor fitting

I would not hire this man again. Our job consisted of 4 parts. Parts 1-3 were finished. He did not finish part 4. It seemed he must have been rushing off to the next job. When I sent him a very politely worded email asking for clarification and a reduction to his bill if he wasn't going to finish the job, I received a very sarcastic, hostile reply in which he made lame excuses for not finishing the job properly. He also took 2.5 months to do our project after agreeing to take on the job. Very unprofessional.
