I absolutely love working for 1st Priority! The Director Sherry, monitors the upkeep of all of her employee's trainings so that all of her clients receive the best up-to-date care possible! Staff is trained in all areas including the specific needs of the individual receiving care. All staff have passed extensive background checks and have exhibited the capability of what it entails to be a habilitation training specialist. We prioritize our client's involvement within the community and inclusion is very important us. Sherry is an amazing advocate for vulnerable adults and children. She has followed her passion to lead her where she is today. We understand how hard it is to trust your loved ones in the care of others, and we thrive on earning that trust! 1st Priority is expanding our reach within the community, and we have an ongoing need for competent caregivers. We pay for and provide the best up-to-date training and certifications to ensure the best care possible for our clients. Stop by our office anytime between the hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, to fill out an application. 1st Priority does currently offer MAT certification classes to other agencies. The training room is approximately 14ft x 16ft, and comfortably seats 12, plus a teaching desk and area for the instructor. I have attached a photo for reference. If you are coming here for training or to apply for an open position, please know that our expectations are only that of any other business. If you are in need of any special accommodations, we ask that you or your agency make us aware of them, so we may plan accordingly if at all possible. We have recently had to implement new classroom expectations for guests attending training that include being respectful to the instructor, and to others in the training room. We ask that you do not be disruptive to others learning, and to please not interrupt or make attempts to impede the training. Unfortunately, we do not allow guests to come in and rearrange our offices or rooms at this time. Nor do we permit foul language, disrespectful behavior, offensive behavior, or name calling in our office. If you have any questions or concerns regarding training we provide or employment opportunities please feel free to call or visit indeed for our most recent job postings.

They emailed and offered companies around Tulsa to come into their 8X8 classroom with a total of 12 Elementary desk and folding chairs. The room was super tight. So I asked why couldn't we turn the middle desk around to face the instructor I was told according to the state that the chairs needed to be turned facing each other. It just didn't make since to me at all. I explained turning my head to the left the whole 6 hours of being there didn't make since. I was told by the owner if I wanted to leave I could. I explained that I feel that I should be able to express how I felt. I was just voicing my opinion. Then I was told that I was disrupting the class. I asked how and we were on our lunch break. Then I was told to leave. I reached out to my PC and was told to apologize. I apologized and completed the day not saying anything. I asked to instructor who wasnt there to please make sure that I was counted because the owner had written on a piece of peper that I had left. On the way out I was told by one of their staff to be extra careful because they talk crazy to their staff. This morning I wake up to get dressed for the day and finish my last day. I received a message that 1st Priority said I couldn't return to finish my MAT training that their was an email sent yesterday at the end of day. It makes absolutely no sense on why. The owner is very OCD as well as a control freak!!! Talking disappointed! Thank God I don't work for this company. They apparently don't like opinionated people. Me I would've asked my guest to do a survey on the classroom, instructor etc. l'll do mines right here on this review. You all don't need but 9 desk in that classroom with all desk facing the way that the instructor is teaching! I apologize that my personality was to strong for your all to handle and kicking someone out of a class showed me a lot about your company. FYI I'm Claustrophobic it's apart of my medical chart.

Thank you for your review and your apology. I will try and address all your concerns within your review. Thank for your recommendation as to how many desks are needed in our classroom. Our classroom currently accommodates 12 adult student desks and 12 students comfortably and we have never had any complaints in any of our past classes. I’m sure your opinion of how many desks are appropriate for our classroom was determined by your medical condition. I am so very sorry you are claustrophobic, unfortunately we were not made aware of your condition prior to class enrollment by your agency nor by you at any time while you were in class with us. Had we known we would have made every effort to try and accommodate your needs. My recollection of our brief conversation is very different from yours. After careful consideration of the complaints we received from other.students in class concerning your strong personality, we made the decision that it would be in the best interest of the other students to dismiss your second day of attendance, and we notified your agency immediately. Thank you again for your suggestions and taking time to review 1st Priority Home Health.
