Bud howard is unethical, unprofessional and over charges for work not done. I intend on reporting him to the bar Association. I paid him 5.00. 00 . all he did was an arraignment and preliminary hearing. Passed 5 court hearings. Then tells the judge that he has not been able to move forward with my case cause i have not paid him. At that point i made the decision to fire him. This also after him asking my elderly mother to give him 20.00. Thousand dollars. I of course had to hire a new lawyer. My new lawyer contacted his office on several occasions with no response from him or his office. Bud has the preliminary hearing transcript that should be rightfully mine. Which he is refusing to hand over. I would strongly recommend that you find a good lawyer. Bud howard is the worst not just lawyer but human being.

At the beginning of our case, we felt like Bud wasn't good at communicating with us because when we called he wasn't in the office. Apparently, lawyers spend a lot of time at court. We soon found out that 90% of the times we were calling Bud it was for validation he believed in our case which is pretty much a waste of our money and his time to bog him down with questions that are not relevant to our case. Bud's office has been fantastic at contacting us for any issues and fighting our custody battle at minimal cost. Bud is very direct. He has sound advice and expects you to follow his advice. It's hard to do with custody issues since it's a personal matter but in the long run it has saved us a lot of money and frustration. If you are looking for an attorney that is a bulldog and is honest with you about what he expects the outcome to be trust you will get a good attorney out of Bud.
