image My husband has a car loan here , I drop off the payment. The outside tellers always make me feel like I am trying to steal his money or something. I hate going there when they make me feel like a crook. Once our loan is paid no more TCCU.

image I have been a member of TTCU since my divorce in 2013. I am a single mom of 3 children and work full time as a nurse and going to school for my Masters. Never in my life have I been made to feel like a worthless  criminal until yesterday. Since the end of March I have been dealing with fraudulent charges on my debit card. The first wasn't a high amount so it didn't stress me out. I went and disputed it, got a new card, and thought the problem was over. However, this happened 3 more times (the 4th being today) for amounts of $273-$420 each time. For a single mom, that is alot of money to have taken out. Everytime I went in frustrated and asking for help (which was never given except "change passwords" or "I'm sorry) , disputed it and got a new card. With each new card came the hassle of switching it over to my auto bill payments etc. It's been very stressful. One of the charges put me in the negative, but I was thankful it was returned after the dispute and it resolved. Today when I came in, the woman who assisted me immediately wasn't there to tolerate me and my "scam". She was rude and not helpful at all to my request for some kind of protection on my account because I can't keep having this happen anymore. She proceeds to tell me that I'm either giving my card to someone to use or using it on risky websites online and that they can't issue me another debit card. I was in shock. I asked if that means I need to find a different bank and she said yes that would be a good idea. I was a liability and they can no longer pay out for the disputes. She made it seem as if I was doing this intentionally. I started to tear up because I was frustrated at how she was treating me and she didn't say a word. She had me sign paperwork for a dispute on this current transaction but that it most likely wouldn't be reimbursed. It was for $273 to a restaurant in New Jersey which clearly I was not at. So without any help and being treated like a piece of S%!# I had to go to the teller, crying and feeling completely humiliated, and withdrawl my money and go to a different bank. A bank, by the way, that has fraud protection notifications and will call me when a purchase is being made outside the state before approving. It's all I was wanting. I know there are shady people out there pulling things over on people, but don't treat every person as if they are guilty of those acts. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone, especially anyone who might find themselves in a situation that they have no control over and are trying to find solutions to.

image I moved here and everyone said go with TTCU, they are a good bank. I have had a bank account since I was young, so I expected a no cost account but because of some glitch that no one can give me details on how to fix, I paid $10.00 a month. Now a year later when I was supposed to be able to roll over. I am told that it is not applicable anymore and I would have to change completely.  It is frustrating and costly. My biggest complaint however, is they are EXTREMELY slow in processing payments and deposits. I came from real time banking where if you paid with your card, the money was gone. You paid a bill with your card, the money was no longer there for use. You had an accurate and up to date balance. Here, my Mom gave me a check from this same exact bank. I put it through mobile banking 3 days ago and it hasn't posted to my account for use. I don't even understand that. They took the money out of her account already and I can see it in "current balance" but the " available " balance does not include that money. Maybe other people think this is normal banking but all I can say is I miss my old bank and yes. Im looking for somewhere that offers up to date services. Good luck if you use this bank. It is safe but that about it. They do a decent job with COVID protection.

image As a former Bank of America customer, I really appreciate TTCU. There aren't stupid fees everytime I do anything and they haven't made the mistakes that BOA did. TTCU is adding branches all the time, so it's particurlarly convenient - this one is right on my way to work.Overall, I think the service is very nice. It is a credit union, so you're a part owner, and not just a customer. It costs $1 to join and you must keep a $25 balance in your savings account - so you can leave one day and have only paid $1! (But you should keep your membership in case you ever need a loan!)This branch always has plenty of drive-through lanes open. When I deposit checks, my only annoyance is how long it takes to fill out the slip. Once I send my stuff up the tube, it usually takes just a minute or two and then I'm on my way.Finally, I just really appreciate that it's local. There's something to be said for having my favorite high school's logo on my check card! (I know that may seem lame to some, but I think it's very cool!) If you live or work in this part of town, I definitely recommend this TTCU.
