JDL Construction was hired to perform construction on the new home of my family. To keep this short, JDL cost my family $12,000 between frame repair and plumbing repair that required busting up my foundation to correct the problem. This is all well documented by multiple subcontractors for which I have copies of. Further, the owner of the company was advanced over $13,000 for finish framing that was never completed as well as shingles, and electrical work that was never started. JDL Construction cost my family $25,000 and set our home construction back over 6-weeks which also cost us further in interest, port a john rental, as well as dumpster rental. I'm sure there are other loses I can come up with but these are the obvious ones.
Commitments were missed over and over. Since our issue we have done some investigative work to see if there is history of this behavior and there is online. In addition, some of our subcontractors asked who the company was we hired and all said they had heard nothing but negative comments in regards to JDL Construction.
