Tornado Place company installed the storm shelter for our house last year. Their shelters have required certification. After checking/ learning/researching, we have chosen their company for they provide shelters with high degree of flexibility in installation. Our shelter was customized to be installed in one of our closets on the main floor. So, it still is a closet with the walls of the shelter, and the whole structure is anchored to the house's slab. Installation in the room leaves some dust on furniture, so it's probably good to cover it beforehand. They were very responsive in communication, answered questions and explained the process. When the parts of the shelter were made to our particular specifications, the crew arrived on time and constructed the shelter in about 2 hrs. They were easy to deal with, friendly and profesional. The shelter provides a peace of mind, and we hope to never check its reliability in a tornado situation, but it can also serve as a safe room in the case of house intrusion. We were satisfied with the whole experience, and highly recommend this company.
