Ashford Place Apartments

These apartments definitely aren't up to code about ANYTHING. I currently live here. And currently dealing with my upstairs neighbors having some over flow issues in the hot water tank PAN that isent sappose to be happening and all the maintenance did was shotvac the water out... And came down to my apartment and shot vac water out of my FLOODED CARPET. WHICH IS STILL SOAKED TILL THIS DAY it's been now two days sense it happened and stuff is only getting worse. Iv had issues sense DAY 1 of moving here. And they just temporarily fix stuff and it dosent fix anything. We have water pressure ISSUES. PLUS FLOODING. WHEN I first moved in here sewage backed up into my BATH TUB and toilet. They found peaces of BRICK from building in the pipes. This place is BY FAR not up to code. They don't keep up with sprays for roaches or anything. If you know the buildings are having roach issues don't u think you should continue to do sprays or whatever ur doing to help prevent them......??? I can honestly say I think these people are LAZY. Dumpsters currently GONE AS WELL.. THERES NO ONE EVER IN THE OFFICE for me to pay my rent on time. Bc I don't trust just dropping it in the box. I like to hand it in person. This is getting so bad I'm about to call Shawnee housing authority. And let them know what's going on.. I'm adding photos marked were water leaking has happened and it's been WET for three days now. And all that's been done is shot vaccing the carpet. Update 2023: it's now been MONTHS seems iv had an oven that worked. They refuse to fix anything. Iv submitted and submitted for stuff to be fixed. And they are failing at that.

Managers Never in the office. You receive write ups for he said she said complaints would not recommend this place. Can't get nothing fixed that's simple anger will call you over a dog being out but can even get weather strips put in or return ur call about the apartment ur renting that's falling apart

Do Not Even Think About Moving Here! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Place. They Have MICE In These Apartments!!! They Never Check Messages, You Have To Hound Them Just To Get Anything Fixed, No One Is Ever In The Office. I Mean The List Goes On & On!!! I Wish I Could Pack Up ASAP & Move Right Now. Save Yourself!

Update to last year's review. Since BECKY the office manager is now gone, things are some better. FYI: SHE took it upon herself to take MY HUSBAND'S phone number with her and started calling him. WE put a stop to it! As far as handicap parking, people have to bring their own signs and place them in the ground if they want a handicap spot. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS!! But now if you call if they don't answer they will call you right back! They should put elderly and disabled closer to the parking areas. Instead of making them have to walk so far! Especially since they DON'T ENFORCE HANDICAP PARKING. We've had our apt for 15 months and still have YET to get fan in bedroom replaced. Need another maintenance guy to help the one they have, being everything can't be done in a reasonable time. And we still have wind coming in around bedroom window, as well as light and air coming in around front door. That would help our electric bill go down if they would maintain their complexes.
