Excell Home Care & Hospice

Ive used Excell Home Care several times over the years, after surgery and for general at home care as I battle cancer. I cannot tell you how grateful Ive been each time Ive called the 24/7 Nurse line!! I get the RN on call and am connected in 2-3 minutes. The nurse explained what was going on with me when I called tonight and calmed me right down. I absolutely love these folks! Ive had all these caregivers to date: Janee, George and Shelly for occupational therapy, Alesia, Blake, Carissa, Angela and Shannon for Nurse Visits, Zack, Nancy and Laurie for physical therapy and my darling Jewel is my social worker. I couldnt be happier with my team of GREAT caretakersalways there for me! 24/7! (Ive been battling Breast Cancer since early 2019 - went stage 4 (metastatic) 2 years ago to my bones). Excell works w/ your Dr and Insurance to ensure you always have coverage. At times, you might need a discharge (when better) but if anything comes up they start you right back up. Not ONCE have I ever been disappointed!

I had my knee replaced and Shelly Nowlin was the therapist who came out to see me. Shelly pushed me to do just a little more even when it hurt and I wanted to quit. I did see another , a PTA a couple times but Shelly made me feel like she cared about my pain and me as a person . She pushed and persuaded and praised and pushed some more. She was available to answer questions and kept reminding me and reassuring me that this will get better Thank you Excell for having quality folks like her and thank you Shelly for your excellent and thoughtful care . You make such a difference!

Do not send ANYONE you care about to this place. After losing 4 nurses back to back to back they left me with ppl who didn't know what they were doing at all with infusaports. Each week I was accessed (same needle) 5 times, 4 times etc so much so that the skin over the port split open and I had to go thru hell getting it removed and replaced. After this they refused to treat me and bc I didn't fit into one nurses schedule they discharged me even with screenshots saying I wouldn't be dc. Run run run to a home health company that actually cares and will not put your health at risk constantly

I worked here for about 4 months in 2021. I was hired as a HHA and found what I thought to be a good job when I started here at Excell. At first I was really excited about working here and providing care but that changed after they showed their true colors. Most of the staff are super nice but the upper management of this place treat people with no respect and then run them off. During my short time I was witness to this more than once and I decided this is not where I want to spend my time so I obtained employment with another HH company. On my way out the door they offered me more then the new job was going to pay me but I still left them so that should tell you something. Best decision I made in 2021.
