I've had 2 customers with garage door issues recently, and I called Brent at Hometown both times. He was there and done before I could turn around twice! I now know more about garage doors than I ever imagined possible! Fair pricing, knowledgeable, priofessional, respectufl, well dressed,, adorable,, and super fast!

So my garage door spring broke at 10:30am today. I called our home warranty company and they assigned Hometown Garage Doors and said they will contact me in 24-48 hours. Well I was surprised when I was called by 3pm and they were on their way and would arrive at 4pm. The tech was on time, extremely professional and fast. Fixed my broken spring in 15 min or less and even adjusted my other garage door for no charge! This business is great...give this company your business and you won’t regret it!

If I could give them a 0 I would. I was referred to them through my home warranty company for a cracked pipe on my pool. No where on their website does it say they service pools but somehow they do. They sent a technician out who tried to epoxy over it. When my normal pool company came they called me literally laughing at how horrible the repair job was and offered to call the warranty company for me because it was so bad. The leak was worse after they came than prior to their bubble gum repair job. I called and they returned to try again. They were at my home for 5 minutes and left without a word so I called. I was told they had to order parts and would call my home warranty company. Then today I received a call from my warranty company stating they were notified they repaired the problem and that the issue was solved. I again do not understand how a garage door company got a contract to repair pools but they should probably stick to garage doors!

Business relationship ended before it even began. Not sure who is worse, this company or the home warranty that recommended them. Rep gave me both the 800 number as well as the tecs number, which are one in the same. From just after 1pm Central standard time til 718pm Central standard time i dialed these numbers so many times i lost count. All you ever got was one ring, then straight to voice mail recording advising you that its full and hangs up. So their website advertising about their response to getting you or car out promptly if you are stuck in your garage forgot to tell you get comfy it may be a week before you can even reach anyone. I called them due to being stuck in my garage without a way to get in my home, or out of the garage due to large step and i being a paraplegic in a wheelchair. This information was passed along when service request was confirmed thru home warranty company. The were told house in beginning stages of remodel. The garage doors would not budge, it was due to burnt motor, i could smell the burned wires. Even emergency release no help, solid wooden segments no light weghts. Lucky wife came home as i was working on getting out of hot garage and we were able to get doors up enough for me to get out. So after 6 1/2 hrs of trying to reach someone, anyone that works at this company in any capacity. With absolutely no success. I DO NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. This is by far THE worst customer service experience i have ever had the pleasure of having. I finally got thru to my worthless home warranty outsourced customer service company rep, which was another fiasco. It only took four attempts at getting a rep that could do their job correctly and place you on hold to look into your issue. Not too mention the language barrier and understanding who you are speaking with. Then you got dial tone because call was disconnected. Oh and then you get informed that garage door is covered, but not the spring or some other components.. so Home Town Garage Door and AHS home warranty get the one star, i would give no star but it wouldn't let me give that rating. Horrible companies with horrible customer service!!!!!
