Watch out in dealing with Amy, and with this office as a whole. Amy called me back and was so rude I'm not really sure where to go from here. I had a TSH draw in October that came back as .0401. This (according to every resource) is very low. Angela Zora's office claims that anything below .015 is what's considered low, but every other protocol on the planet shows .0400 is the lowest a number should be without intervention occurring. My low result along with all of my awful symptoms, coupled with the ultrasound of my breasts (showing several swollen lymph nodes) is a read flag and is indicative of something being very wrong with me. I am a patient who is truly suffering. After doing my own research and talking with other doctors, they have all suggested I call my GP back (Angela) and request a T3 and T4 draw because a low TSH is ACTUALLY indicative of a HIGH thyroid. Not a low one and that this number is far too low. I made my first call a month ago to request these tests, I didn’t get a call back. I called again 2 weeks ago, no one called me back. I called again yesterday and did not get a call back. So I called today and Larry answered the phone. He remembered me calling previously, so he immediately put me through to Susan, who understood my concern and agreed with my concern. Susan said she would ask Angela if I could in fact get a T3 and T4 test and I could just get the blood draw easily. Thirty minutes later my phone rings and it's Amy. She says (in a very condescending tone) "Did you have some results you wanted sent to your OBGYN?". At this point I'm thinking she knows nothing about the lab test I had requested for Angela Zors so I ignore her tone and mentioned that I was waiting on a call back regarding the T3 and T4 tests. Amy cuts me off mid sentence and says "Well everything is normal with your TSH so that won't be happening". Word for word, that is what she said to me. No bedside manner at all. I tried to explain the concern I had and she cut me off, again taking about protocol. I said okay, began to speak to give her the fax number, and she spoke over me again in a condescending tone as if she was so annoyed that she was even on the phone with me. Bottom line, I get it. Every office has a "protocol". But it's the doctors and nurses that care and go above and beyond protocol that make a difference in their patience lives. Those are the doctors that find cures. Those are the health care professionals that find the answers to symptoms, not "protocol pushers". If you want to be treated as a patient and treated as a whole do not come here. If you want a doctor that looks at one number at a time, one piece of information at a time, and has no way of combining test results/symptoms to help you figure out what’s wrong with you... then this is your place.

I had a serious medical situation that had been going on for almost 5 weeks now, Dr Amanda Shils was the first to see me, she directed me to my gynecologist since it was a female issue. Long story short, my gynecologist wasn’t taking care of me like I believed he should so I called on week 3 to see if there was something they could do, Dr Shils nurse, Karla was amazing, along with Dr Shils, they began right away ordering proper tests for me, got me scheduled with a new gynecologist and made sure I was getting taken care of then and there. On week 5 of having horrible pain, my new gynecologist right away rushed me to surgery the day that I saw her. I am now on the road to recovery and eternally grateful to Dr Shils and Nurse Karla!

They are super friendly, easy to work with and doctors, nurses, and all medical staff are the most caring I've met in a long time!

I normally don’t post reviews but this is one that is important for the practice AND the public to know. Nurse practitioner Angie Zora has been pretty good over all, but her nurse Whitney is not good. I came in with my teenage granddaughter and Whitney just doesn’t know what she’s doing. At all. We will be switching only for this reason.
