I made a purchase on 10-16-21 with an employee (multiple devices and accessories) and she quoted a price for the two phones I would be trading in for credit. I went into the store 3 times over the next month and asked each employee I spoke with what my bill would be based on the credit I was quoted by the first associate. Four different employees looked in my account: the first telling me what I would receive in credit and the following three telling me “it takes a bill or two to show the correct credit on your account.” One of the employees I spoke with went so far as telling me that according to the discount price I was told, my device payment would lower approximately $30 dollars when the credit was posted to my account. I finally had to open a chat with a Verizon representative and they were the first person to tell me they not only did the first employee not provide me with the correct information but the three other employees also failed to give me the correct information. They suggested I go back to the store to see if the manager would honor the quote I was given. I then went into to speak with the store Manager and he told me there was nothing they could do about the price I was quoted but I was welcome to call customer service. It’s always wonderful to know employees can say whatever necessary to complete a transaction and then conveniently forget what they told customers when it comes time for the bill to actually come out.
